Delhi Police Entry into Gurudwara Bangla Sahib Reaches Akal Takht

Delhi Police entered Gurudwara Bangla Sahib in central Delhi, sparking protests from Sikh leaders and legislators. The incident has now been forwarded to the Akal Takht, the highest Sikh religious authority, for adjudication. Legislators have condemned the police action as a breach of Sikh religious sanctity and have demanded a review of the decision. The case highlights tensions between law enforcement and religious communities over access to places of worship. Authorities have yet to release a statement on the Akal Takht's response.
