On Saturday, Delhi police implemented a three-part strategy of dispersing, distracting, and detaining demonstrators, splitting them into different directions to manage the CJPE-related protest.
On Saturday, Delhi police adopted a tactic described as 'disperse, distract, and detain' to manage a demonstration linked to the CJPE. Officers were instructed to break up gatherings, divert protesters' attention, and take immediate custody of anyone raising slogans.
As part of this approach, demonstrators were deliberately directed toward different routes, preventing them from regrouping at a single location. The police said the move aimed to maintain public order and avoid clashes.
Officials said the strategy remained in effect throughout the day, reflecting a coordinated effort to handle the CJPE-related protest without allowing sustained rallies. No further details about arrests or injuries were provided in the report.
