Delhi's Economic Offences Wing arrested Rahul Pal after 21 investors complained of being duped of ₹3.78 crore through false investment promises. The accused allegedly lured investors with promises of high returns.
The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of Delhi Police took action following complaints from 21 investors who alleged they were cheated out of ₹3.78 crore. According to the police, the accused Rahul Pal promised lucrative returns on investments but did not deliver any profits.
Investors said they were approached with offers to invest in a company that guaranteed high returns. After transferring money, they received neither returns nor their principal amount, prompting them to file a complaint with the EOW.
After investigating the allegations, the EOW arrested Rahul Pal. He is currently in police custody and further investigation is underway to trace the misappropriated funds and identify any other possible victims.
