The Delhi Police has issued an advisory urging residents to check and avoid certain routes as a protest by the Chief Justice of India is expected in the capital.

The Delhi Police has released an advisory warning commuters that traffic conditions may be disrupted due to an upcoming protest by the Chief Justice of India (CJI) in the national capital. The advisory asks the public to verify their travel routes before setting out and to use alternate roads wherever possible.

Police officials indicated that the protest, scheduled for later this week, is likely to attract large crowds near key government and judicial complexes, which could lead to bottlenecks on major arterial roads. Motorists are urged to stay clear of areas around the Supreme Court, Delhi High Court and nearby government offices.

Authorities have also advised public transport users to check real‑time updates on Delhi Metro and bus services, as some routes may experience delays or temporary suspensions. The police have promised to deploy additional personnel to manage traffic and ensure safety.

Commuters are encouraged to follow official police channels and local news bulletins for the latest information, and to cooperate with traffic police directives to minimise inconvenience.
