Delhi Launches Cleanliness Drive Ahead of Gandhi Jayanti

The Delhi Municipal Corporation announced a citywide cleanliness drive scheduled to conclude before Gandhi Jayanti on October 2. The initiative aims to remove litter, clean public spaces and improve waste management across the capital. Officials said teams will focus on high‑traffic areas such as markets, parks and transit hubs. Citizens have been urged to cooperate by disposing waste responsibly and participating in volunteer clean‑up activities. The campaign reflects the administration's effort to honor Mahatma Gandhi's legacy of cleanliness and civic responsibility.
