Delhi has rolled out its winter pollution control measures today, mandating 50% work‑from‑home for employees, banning certain vehicles from roads, and stopping fuel sales to vehicles lacking a valid Pollution Under Control certificate.

Delhi’s new winter pollution rules went into effect today, aiming to reduce air pollution during the cold season.

A key provision requires that at least 50% of the workforce work from home, cutting down commuter traffic.

The regulations also impose a vehicle ban on certain categories, limiting the number of cars on the road.

Additionally, fuel stations will not dispense petrol or diesel to vehicles that do not possess a valid PUC certificate, ensuring compliance.
