Delhi Dhaba Found Lacking Hygiene, Food Safety Violations Uncovered

A recent investigation by India Today has brought to light significant hygiene shortcomings at a well‑known dhaba in Delhi. The report notes that the establishment failed to meet basic food‑safety standards, raising concerns for regular patrons.

Inspectors observed several violations, including inadequate kitchen cleanliness and lapses in food handling practices. While the dhaba has not issued a formal response, the findings underscore the need for stricter oversight of street‑food vendors in the capital.

Authorities are expected to review the report and may initiate corrective actions to ensure compliance with national food‑safety regulations, aiming to protect consumer health.
