Delhi CID’s special team has arrested Mithilesh Singh, a resident of Bhojpur’s Charpokhari block, during the investigation into the JPSC-JSSC paper leak scandal.
Delhi CID’s special investigative team arrested Mithilesh Singh, alias R.K. Singh, on Thursday in Delhi while he was traveling from the capital to his home in Bhojpur’s Charpokhari block.
Singh, a 38‑year‑old resident of Pusaur village, is alleged to have been involved in the distribution of leaked JPSC and JSSC examination papers, a case that has attracted nationwide attention.
The Central Investigation Department, acting on intelligence from the state police, conducted a coordinated operation that culminated in Singh’s detention at a Delhi police station before he could reach his village.
CID officials said the arrest is part of a broader probe into the paper‑leak network, and they are continuing to gather evidence to identify other conspirators. No statement has yet been released by the JPSC or JSSC.
