The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a weather bulletin predicting a cool, clear morning for Delhi, while forecasting rain for the southern parts of the country.
The IMD released a weather bulletin on Thursday, noting that Delhi will experience a cool morning with clear skies. The temperature is expected to stay below 25°C, offering relief from the usual summer heat.
In contrast, the bulletin warns of impending rainfall across South India, with the monsoon front moving northwards. Meteorologists advise residents in the affected states to prepare for possible showers.
The forecast is part of the department’s routine 72‑hour outlook, aimed at helping citizens plan their daily activities. No immediate action is required in Delhi, but travelers should stay updated for any sudden changes.
The bulletin also highlighted that the clear skies over Delhi could lead to a slight drop in humidity, improving air quality for the day.
