In a bid to ensure safe and healthy food for citizens during the festive season, Delhi authorities launched a stringent food safety drive ahead of Diwali. The operation resulted in the seizure of 40 food samples that were deemed potentially unsafe for consumption. These samples will be rigorously tested in laboratories to determine the extent of the contamination. Furthermore, 100kg of food products that failed to meet safety standards were destroyed to prevent any potential health risks to the public.
