Police discovered dismembered remains of a woman on the Tamil Nadu Express at Agra railway station. Initial investigations have traced the case to Guduvanchery in Tamil Nadu.

Police officials reported that fragments of a woman's body were found inside a coach of the Tamil Nadu Express that had halted at Agra railway station. The remains were described as decomposed and were recovered by railway staff who alerted the local authorities.

Investigators from the Uttar Pradesh police have taken custody of the recovered material and are conducting forensic examinations to establish the identity of the victim and the circumstances of her death. Early leads suggest the crime may be linked to a location in Tamil Nadu.

Further probing by the crime branch has identified Guduvanchery, a town near Chennai in Tamil Nadu, as a possible point of origin for the suspect or the victim. Teams from both states are coordinating to trace travel records, CCTV footage and any related criminal activity that could connect the two locations.

The railway authorities have temporarily increased security checks on long-distance trains passing through Agra, and a senior police spokesperson said the investigation is ongoing and that the public will be informed of any significant developments.
