In a recent interview, actor Dayanand Shetty disclosed that many film stars bring their pet dogs to shoots accompanied by dedicated nannies, with the animals often wearing makeup and sunglasses for the camera.
Dayanand Shetty, best known for his role in the long-running television series CID, shared insights about the growing trend of pet dogs accompanying film stars on set. He explained that these animals are not brought alone; they arrive with dedicated nannies who look after their needs during long shooting hours.
According to Shetty, the dogs are groomed specially for the camera, often receiving light makeup and wearing sunglasses to suit the visual requirements of scenes. This practice ensures the pets look presentable and comfortable under studio lights.
The revelation highlights how the film industry is increasingly treating pets as part of the entourage, reflecting a broader cultural shift where animals receive personalized care and attention even in professional environments.
