The film 'Dashami' completed its first week with a net collection of less than ₹35 lakh, marking a disappointing start at the box office, according to IMDb data.
Dashami wrapped up its seventh day at the theatres with a net box‑office collection that fell short of ₹35 lakh, according to figures published by IMDb. The modest total places the film among the lowest‑earning releases of the week.
Industry analysts note that a sub‑₹35 lakh net for a full week is well below the benchmark for a commercially viable Hindi‑language film, especially when compared with recent releases that have crossed the ₹1‑crore mark in the same period.
The tepid response may be attributed to a combination of limited screen count, strong competition from other new releases, and modest promotional activity, though no official comment has been made by the producers.
Given the weak opening, the film’s distributors are likely to reassess their marketing push and screen allocation in the coming days to try and salvage the remaining run.
