Damoh Jewelry Shop Heist: Thieves Seize Gold, Silver, Cash, Leave Vault Unopened

In Patara, Damoh, robbers broke the shop's shutters, stole about 120 grams of gold, 15 kg of silver and ₹80,000 in cash, and tried to take the vault but failed to open it.
A jewelry shop in Patara, Damoh was robbed early this week when a group of thieves forced open the shop’s shutters and entered the premises. They seized roughly 120 grams of gold, 15 kilograms of silver and ₹80,000 in cash. The robbers also attempted to carry the shop’s vault out of the building, but were unable to open it and left it behind.
The incident was captured on the shop’s CCTV system, which recorded the perpetrators’ movements and the time of entry. Police were alerted immediately and arrived at the scene within minutes.
Damoh Police Department, aided by a dog squad and the Cyber Cell, are currently investigating the case. The footage is being analyzed to identify the suspects and trace the stolen items.
The shop owner has reported the theft to the local police station and is cooperating with the investigation. No injuries were reported during the robbery.
