Daitapati Servitors Enter Puri Jagannath Temple for Devasnana Purnima Rituals

The sacred rituals for the upcoming Devasnana Purnima have begun at the renowned Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri, Odisha. The traditional Daita Prabesha Niti marked the commencement of these preparations, with Daitapati servitors entering the temple premises.

The entry of the Daitapati servitors took place on the auspicious day of Jyestha Shukla Trayodashi. These servitors, who play a crucial role in the temple's rituals, entered the Srimandir in designated groups, signifying the start of the elaborate ceremonies leading up to Devasnana Purnima.

Devasnana Purnima is a significant festival observed at the temple, and the Daita Prabesha Niti is an integral part of the pre-festival rituals. The participation of the Daitapati community underscores their traditional role in the temple's spiritual and ceremonial activities.
