Cyclone Arnab has altered weather patterns across Madhya Pradesh, delivering showers to Satna and Katni while cooler temperatures prevail in Ratlam, Dhar and Jhabua.
The low‑pressure system named Cyclone Arnab moved into central India this week, influencing the climate of several districts in Madhya Pradesh. Meteorological officials noted that the cyclone’s outer bands have reached the eastern part of the state, bringing measurable rainfall.
In the districts of Satna and Katni, residents experienced intermittent showers that eased the ongoing heat, while the western districts of Ratlam, Dhar and Jhabua reported a noticeable drop in temperature, with evenings turning markedly cooler.
State weather agencies have issued advisories for continued monitoring, urging people in the affected areas to stay alert for possible flash floods in low‑lying zones and to take precautions against sudden cold spells. No major damage has been reported so far, but authorities remain vigilant as the system progresses.
