Cyberfraud Network Cracked: Three Arrested in Patna and Buxar

Police intelligence units have dismantled a cyber fraud network that operated across Bihar, according to a statement released by the state police. Three individuals were taken into custody in Patna and Buxar, the police said, citing evidence of fraudulent online transactions. The arrests follow a multi‑agency investigation that traced the scheme’s financial trails and identified key operatives.

The operation, carried out in coordination with the cybercrime division, targeted accounts linked to phishing and fake investment schemes. Authorities are reviewing the extent of the network’s reach and are expected to file charges against the arrested suspects.
