Congress Unveils New Punjab Strategy to Dismantle Fiefdoms

Congress has rolled out a new strategy for Punjab, signalling a shift towards dismantling entrenched fiefdoms that have long dominated local politics. The party’s plan focuses on breaking up these power structures to create a more inclusive and transparent governance framework across the state.

The strategy emphasizes the need for unity among diverse communities and aims to foster development initiatives that reach all sections of society. By targeting the roots of factional dominance, Congress seeks to build a more cohesive political environment in Punjab.

Party officials have highlighted that the new approach will involve strengthening grassroots organizations and encouraging broader participation in decision‑making processes, thereby laying the groundwork for long‑term stability and progress in the state.
