In Bhilwara, Manoj Paliwal, a member of the Rajasthan Congress Pradesh Congress Committee, staged a sit‑in outside the party’s local office, carrying a traditional spinning wheel (charak) as a symbol of his protest.
He highlighted a controversy surrounding the election symbols allotted to 17 Congress candidates in the district, alleging that the allocation process was mishandled.
Paliwal demanded the immediate resignation of state party president Govind Singh Dotasra, holding him responsible for the alleged irregularities.
