Congress veteran Pranab Mukherjee reminded Defence Minister Rajnath Singh that the opposition would continue to oppose, expose and seek to depose the government.
Congress veteran Pranab Mukherjee addressed the opposition’s stance in a recent statement, reminding Defence Minister Rajnath Singh that the opposition’s role is to oppose, expose and seek to depose the government.
Mukherjee’s remarks came amid growing tensions between the ruling party and opposition factions, with the former warning that any attempt to undermine the government would be met with resistance.
The statement was delivered during a press briefing where Mukherjee emphasized the need for the opposition to remain vigilant and transparent in its criticism of government policies.
Political analysts say the comment underscores the heightened partisan climate as elections approach, with both sides preparing for a more confrontational campaign.
