Collector Ravindra Goswami launches Mission Manas education model for 3.18 lakh children in Pali

Under the ‘Mission Manas’ drive, Pali’s government schools will introduce prayer assemblies, English speaking sessions, yoga, career counseling and reading programmes for over 3.18 lakh students.
Pali district collector Ravindra Goswami has inaugurated a new education initiative called “Mission Manas”, targeting more than 3.18 lakh students in government schools across the region. The scheme is slated to begin as soon as the school bell rings, signalling a shift in the daily routine of pupils.
The programme places equal emphasis on moral, physical and career development. Each school will hold a daily prayer assembly, conduct regular English‑speaking drills, offer yoga sessions, provide career‑counselling workshops and encourage students to read books beyond the prescribed syllabus.
In parallel, the “Aao Gaon Chalen” campaign seeks to involve migrants and former residents in school‑development activities, creating a community‑driven support system for the educational reforms.
Officials say the integrated approach aims to improve overall learning outcomes, boost confidence in spoken English and prepare youth for future employment opportunities, while also fostering cultural and physical well‑being.
