Coastal Groups Push for Morning Bengaluru‑Mangaluru Vande Bharat Departure

Coastal interest groups in Karnataka have formally requested that the Bengaluru‑Mangaluru Vande Bharat service be scheduled for a morning departure. The petition, submitted to the South Western Railway, argues that an early start would better serve daily commuters travelling between the two cities and the adjoining coastal belt.
The railway officials have acknowledged receipt of the demand and indicated that the timetable will be reviewed in light of passenger needs and operational constraints. No definitive decision has been announced yet, and the groups are awaiting a response.
