CM Sukhu says Kishau pact relieves Himachal Pradesh’s financial burden

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu told reporters that the recently concluded Kishau pact has significantly reduced the state’s financial load. He highlighted that the agreement, which involves a collaborative arrangement with the central government, will free up resources for development projects across the hill state.

The CM emphasized that the pact’s financial terms are favorable and will prevent Himachal from incurring additional debt. He added that the savings will be redirected towards improving infrastructure, education, and health services in remote areas.
