CM Samrat Chaudhary orders new Patna Metro work after JP Jayanti ceremony

On Loknayak Jayaprakash Narayan's birth anniversary, Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary inspected Beli Road and directed the commencement of additional Patna Metro construction.
A state‑level ceremony was held in Patna to mark the birth anniversary of veteran leader Jayaprakash Narayan. The event was attended by the Governor, Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, Deputy Chief Minister, several cabinet ministers and senior officials.
Following the official program, Chief Minister Chaudhary proceeded to Beli Road for an on‑site inspection. He examined the ongoing infrastructure works and interacted with the project engineers present at the location.
During the inspection, the CM issued a directive to accelerate the Patna Metro project. He instructed the state urban development department and the metro authority to fast‑track pending phases, ensure timely procurement of materials, and address any bottlenecks that could delay the line’s expansion.
