Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta opened state‑of‑the‑art training facilities at three Industrial Training Institutes on Monday, aiming to boost skill development and job readiness for youth.
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta presided over the inauguration of modern training centres at three Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) on Monday, as part of the Service Commitment campaign. The new facilities are equipped with contemporary equipment and industry‑aligned curricula designed to enhance practical skills for students.
The initiative seeks to bridge the gap between vocational education and employability, providing youth with hands‑on training that matches current market demands. Officials highlighted that the centres will host specialized workshops, digital labs, and partnerships with local enterprises to facilitate on‑the‑job learning.
The launch forms a key component of the government’s broader effort to strengthen skill development infrastructure across Delhi, aiming to improve educational outcomes and create sustainable employment opportunities for the city’s young population.
State officials said the project will be monitored for impact on placement rates, with plans to replicate the model in additional institutions if successful.
