Chief Minister Pema Khandu participated in the unveiling of the NITI Aayog‑commissioned Arunachal Trilogy in New Delhi, marking a policy milestone for the northeastern state.

New Delhi, Oct 9 (Northeast Today) – Chief Minister Pema Khandu of Arunachal Pradesh attended a high‑profile event in the capital where the NITI Aayog released its "Arunachal Trilogy," a series of policy papers focused on the state's socio‑economic development. The launch, held at a government conference hall, featured senior NITI Aayog officials who outlined the trilogy's objectives, including infrastructure upgrades, tourism promotion, and sustainable livelihood initiatives.

Khandu praised the collaborative effort between the central think‑tank and the state government, stating that the recommendations would guide future investments and improve the quality of life for residents across Arunachal Pradesh's remote districts. He also highlighted the need for swift implementation to address long‑standing connectivity challenges.

The NITI Aayog team, led by its Vice‑Chairman, presented key findings and invited state officials, industry representatives, and civil‑society members to contribute to the rollout. The event underscored the central government's focus on integrating the Northeast more fully into national development plans.

The Arunachal Trilogy is expected to be reviewed periodically, with progress reports to be submitted to both the state and central authorities. Stakeholders anticipate that the policy framework will attract additional funding and private sector participation.

The ceremony concluded with a photo‑op and a pledge from the CM to work closely with NITI Aayog to translate the paper's recommendations into actionable projects on the ground.
