CM Mohan Yadav Visits Flood-Affected Families in Chitrakoot, Vows Full Support

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav arrived in Chitrakoot on Sunday, carrying a delegation of state officials to assess the damage caused by the Mandakini River flood. He met with several families who had been displaced, listening to their immediate needs and concerns. The river’s water level had surged to six metres above the recorded maximum flood level, leaving many homes and crops submerged. In a brief statement, the CM pledged that the state would provide financial assistance, temporary shelters, and long‑term rehabilitation plans for affected households. He also directed the disaster management authorities to expedite relief operations and restore essential services.
