CM Mohan Yadav lays foundation stone for Panchayatna Temple in Omkareshwar

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav visited Omkareshwar, performed Jyotirlinga darshan and inaugurated the foundation stone of the Panchayatna Temple, calling it a future hub of cultural unity.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav arrived in Omkareshwar, a prominent pilgrimage town in Madhya Pradesh, to participate in a series of religious events. He began his visit with a darshan of the Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga, a sacred Shiva shrine revered by devotees across the country.
During the ceremony, the CM joined priests in chanting Vedic mantras and formally laid the foundation stone for the new Panchayatna Temple. The ritual, known as shilapujan, marked the official start of construction for the temple complex.
Speaking at the event, Yadav said the forthcoming Ektaam Dham will evolve into a major centre of cultural unity, fostering spiritual and communal harmony in the region. He emphasized the government's commitment to supporting religious and cultural infrastructure.
