CM Bhagwant Mann Says Previous Record Will Be Broken in Punjab Assembly Election

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann told reporters that the forthcoming state assembly election is expected to eclipse the vote‑share benchmark set in the previous poll. He made the remark while addressing party workers during the pre‑election campaign, emphasizing the confidence of his party in the electorate. Mann highlighted that the earlier record, achieved in the last assembly election, represented a high point for any party in the state. He suggested that current momentum and voter outreach could push the upcoming results beyond that level. The statement comes as parties gear up for the Punjab polls scheduled for later this year, with analysts watching the race closely.
