Cleaning crew clears Mohali vegetable market, main market and Ganesh Vihar road

Municipal cleaning staff carried out a thorough cleaning operation in Mohali, targeting the city's vegetable market, the central commercial market and the principal road of the Ganesh Vihar neighbourhood. The work was completed during the early hours, ensuring that shoppers and commuters would encounter a litter‑free environment.
The crews used standard sweeping equipment and collected accumulated waste from stalls, walkways and the roadway. Their effort aligns with the local authority's routine maintenance schedule aimed at improving hygiene standards in busy public spaces.
Residents and market traders welcomed the clean‑up, noting that a tidy environment enhances both health safety and the overall shopping experience. The municipal body has indicated that similar cleaning drives will continue regularly across other high‑traffic zones in the city.
