The 1988 action thriller 'Mohra' has been remastered in 4K, offering a fresh visual experience to fans after three decades.
The iconic 1988 Bollywood action thriller "Mohra" has been restored to 4K resolution, marking a significant upgrade for a film that originally captivated audiences on 35mm film stock. The restoration process involved meticulous digital scanning and color correction to preserve the original aesthetic while enhancing clarity and detail.
The film, which starred Raveena Tandon and Akshay Kumar in lead roles, was a commercial hit and remains a cult favorite among fans of 80s Hindi cinema. The 4K version is now available on major streaming platforms, allowing a new generation to experience the film’s high-octane action and memorable soundtrack.
Industry insiders say the restoration was undertaken by a leading post‑production studio known for reviving classic Indian cinema. The effort is part of a broader trend of digitizing and preserving Bollywood’s cinematic heritage.
While the film’s soundtrack, including the popular track "Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast," has also seen renewed attention, the primary focus of this release is the visual enhancement of the original movie.
