The Civic Justice Party (CJP) is holding its second day of protests in Delhi, causing traffic disruptions around Connaught Place and Mandi House. Commuters are advised to avoid specific roads and use alternate routes.

The Civic Justice Party (CJP) has staged its second day of protests in Delhi today, with demonstrators gathering near Connaught Place and Mandi House. Police have cordoned off several streets in the area, leading to significant traffic congestion.

Traffic authorities have identified the main routes affected: the stretch of Connaught Place Road between the Central Park and the Delhi Public School, the Mandi House Road from the Metro station to the Laxmi Nagar market, and the adjoining lanes of the Delhi Gate Road. These roads are currently closed to vehicular movement.

Commuters are urged to take alternate routes. Suggested detours include using the Rajpath corridor, the Ring Road via the Lajpat Nagar side, and the Outer Ring Road for north‑south traffic. Public transport users should check for temporary bus route changes announced by the Delhi Transport Corporation.

The protest is part of CJP’s ongoing campaign to raise public awareness about civic issues. While the demonstrators remain peaceful, authorities have increased police presence to ensure smooth traffic flow and public safety.

Drivers and pedestrians are advised to stay updated through official traffic alerts and to allow extra travel time during the protest hours.
