A group of CJP activists were physically attacked while attempting to inspect a school in a Rajasthan village, police said.
A team of activists from the Centre for Justice and Peace (CJP) faced a violent assault while trying to conduct an inspection of a government school in a remote village of Rajasthan. According to local police, the activists entered the school premises to verify compliance with educational standards when a group of unidentified individuals confronted them.
The confrontation quickly turned physical, with the activists being pushed, struck and forced to retreat. Several members sustained minor injuries and required medical attention, though no serious harm was reported. The incident halted the inspection and the activists were escorted out of the village by police.
Rajasthan police have opened a case of assault and are investigating the identities of the attackers. Officials said they will review security arrangements for future school inspections and have urged community members to cooperate with monitoring agencies.
