The Central Industrial Security Force will take charge of safeguarding the National Testing Agency’s newly inaugurated office, officials confirmed.
The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has been tasked with providing security for the National Testing Agency’s (NTA) newly established office, senior officials said. The decision comes as the NTA expands its infrastructure to accommodate growing testing operations across the country.
The NTA, which conducts entrance examinations for higher education institutions, has been setting up additional facilities to streamline its processes. Ensuring the safety of its premises is considered essential to protect sensitive data and maintain uninterrupted services.
CISF’s involvement will include deployment of trained personnel, installation of surveillance systems, and routine security patrols, mirroring its standard protocol for safeguarding critical government establishments. The force has previously secured other central agencies and public sector undertakings.
Officials indicated that the security arrangements will be operational from the day the office becomes functional, with periodic reviews to address any emerging threats.
