The Border Police Force chief said the face‑off with Chinese troops along the Arunachal Pradesh frontier remains ongoing.

New Delhi – The chief of India's Border Police Force reiterated that the confrontation with Chinese forces along the Arunachal Pradesh frontier is still active. He highlighted that troops from both sides continue to patrol the disputed line of actual control, leading to periodic stand‑offs.

The official did not disclose any new incidents but emphasized that the situation requires constant vigilance and readiness. He added that the border personnel are equipped to handle any escalation while diplomatic channels remain open.

The statement comes amid broader regional tensions, with both New Delhi and Beijing monitoring each other's movements along the Himalayan border. Indian authorities have repeatedly called for a peaceful resolution respecting sovereign territory.
