The Chhattisgarh government reshuffled the postings of 18 IPS officers across the State Intelligence Agency, State Intelligence Bureau, CID and district units, appointing Jha Amankumar Ramankumar as Superintendent of Police for the SIA.

The administration of Chhattisgarh issued an order transferring eighteen Indian Police Service officers to new assignments. The reshuffle covers key law‑enforcement wings including the State Intelligence Agency (SIA), State Intelligence Bureau (SIB), the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and various district police units.

Among the transfers, senior officer Jha Amankumar Ramankumar has been posted as Superintendent of Police heading the SIA. The move places him in charge of the state's primary intelligence‑gathering and analysis body.

Such periodic transfers are routine in the Indian police hierarchy and are intended to refresh leadership, improve operational efficiency and address emerging security challenges across the state.

The order does not disclose any disciplinary action or performance‑related issues; it simply reflects the government's routine administrative realignment of senior police personnel.

The reshuffle will take effect as per the official notification, and the transferred officers are expected to assume their new duties within the stipulated timeframe.
