Chief Minister Sai of Chhattisgarh declared that ensuring respect, safety and economic empowerment of women is the state's top priority.

The CM said that existing schemes will be strengthened and new initiatives will be launched to create safe public spaces, improve law‑enforcement response to gender‑based violence, and promote skill‑building and entrepreneurship among women.
He urged civil society, NGOs and the private sector to collaborate with the administration to translate these commitments into tangible outcomes. The statement comes ahead of the state's annual women's welfare review, signalling a policy push in the coming months.
