The Chhattisgarh health department has released 424 seats for the third round of NEET UG admissions, with the last date for applications set for 7 October.
The Chhattisgarh state health department issued a notice on its official portal confirming the availability of 424 seats for the third round of NEET Undergraduate (UG) admissions. The round is part of the state’s effort to fill vacant medical college seats after the national NEET results were released.
Candidates who have qualified NEET 2024 and meet the eligibility criteria can apply for these seats through the online portal. The application process requires submission of the NEET score, domicile proof, and other standard documents. Seats will be allocated based on merit and reservation norms as prescribed by the state government.
The deadline for submitting applications is 7 October 2024. Applicants are advised to complete the process well before the cut‑off time to avoid technical glitches. After the closing date, the department will conduct a centralized counseling session to finalize seat allotments.
The addition of 424 seats is expected to increase the number of medical aspirants who can secure a seat in Chhattisgarh’s government‑run medical colleges, addressing the long‑standing demand for quality medical education in the state.
