The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister unveiled the Sanjeevani pilot project, aiming to integrate technology into the state's healthcare system.
The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, N Chandrababu Naidu, officially launched the Sanjeevani pilot project on Tuesday, announcing a new technology‑driven approach to healthcare across the state.
The initiative, named after the mythical herb that restores health, will deploy digital platforms to streamline patient records, enable tele‑consultations, and provide real‑time analytics for medical staff.
Naidu said the project aims to reduce waiting times, improve diagnostic accuracy, and expand access to quality care in rural and underserved areas. He highlighted that the pilot will start in three districts before scaling statewide.
The government plans to partner with private tech firms and local hospitals, with a target of completing the first phase by the end of the fiscal year.
