A steamboat carrying over 100 passengers and 50 motorcycles broke down in the middle of the Chambal River. The incident occurred on Sunday morning while the boat was en route to the Bateshwar Mahadev temple in Uttar Pradesh.
The steamboat, which departed from Nagar Sahaaspur Ghat in the Porsa area, suddenly ran out of diesel in the middle of the Chambal River. The passengers on board were left stranded and frightened as the boat drifted away with the river's current. The incident has raised concerns about the safety of water transportation in the region. An investigation into the matter is likely to be conducted to determine the cause of the breakdown.
