The Chhattisgarh Directorate of Medical Education has opened registration and choice filling for the 2026 CG NEET PG counselling, alongside publishing the Round 1 seat matrix.
The Chhattisgarh Directorate of Medical Education (CGDME) announced that registration for the 2026 CG NEET PG counselling has officially begun. Candidates who qualified in the NEET PG exam can now log onto the official portal to create their accounts and submit the required details.
Along with registration, the choice‑filling phase is also open. Aspirants must select their preferred postgraduate specialties and participating medical colleges in order of priority. The portal will lock the choices after the stipulated deadline, after which the allocation process will commence.
Simultaneously, CGDME released a PDF containing the Round 1 seat matrix. The document lists the number of seats available across various specialties and institutions in the state, providing candidates with a clear view of the allocation landscape for the first round of counselling.
Applicants are advised to verify their entered information, keep track of subsequent counselling dates, and monitor the portal for updates on seat allotment and further rounds of counselling.
