The Union government has named two new directors and a joint director for the National Testing Agency following the recent NEET row.
New Delhi – In a move aimed at stabilising the National Testing Agency (NTA) after the recent uproar over the NEET examination, the Union Ministry of Education announced the appointment of three senior officials. Two individuals have been designated as directors, while a third will serve as joint director, bringing fresh leadership to the agency.
The appointments come after widespread criticism of the NEET process, which prompted calls for greater transparency and accountability within the NTA. The newly appointed officials are expected to oversee the agency's core functions, including exam conduct, result declaration, and policy implementation.
