India’s Competition Commission has cleared L’Oréal India’s acquisition of Innovist, the company behind the Bare Anatomy brand.
The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has given its approval for L’Oréal India’s proposed takeover of Innovist, the firm that produces the Bare Anatomy line of cosmetics. The clearance removes the final regulatory hurdle, allowing the French‑based beauty giant to proceed with the transaction.
L’Oréal India, which operates a portfolio of global beauty brands, aims to strengthen its presence in the Indian market through Innovist’s niche positioning in natural and cruelty‑free makeup. Innovist, known for its Bare Anatomy range, has built a loyal customer base among urban millennials.
