CBS drama converts Leonia, NJ municipal building into on‑location set

The production team of a CBS drama series has taken over the municipal building in Leonia, New Jersey, converting its interior and exterior spaces into a temporary television set. Officials from the town confirmed that the building was cleared for filming after a brief coordination meeting, and that the arrangement will last for several days while the crew shoots key scenes.

Local authorities said the decision was made to support the entertainment industry and to showcase Leonia’s historic architecture on a national platform. The town’s mayor expressed enthusiasm, noting that the exposure could boost community pride and potentially attract future projects.

The CBS series, known for its high‑production values, is expected to air the episodes later this season, featuring the Leonia municipal building prominently in its storyline. Residents were asked to avoid the area during shooting hours to ensure safety and minimize disruption.
