The Central Bureau of Narcotics recovered 1,146.46 kg of the illicit drug doda chura in Chittorgarh and detained a truck driver and an accomplice as investigations expand.
The Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBN) conducted a large‑scale operation in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan, intercepting a consignment of 1,146.460 kilograms of the narcotic known as doda chura. The seizure was made after intelligence agencies flagged a truck transporting the substance through the district.
During the raid, CBN teams detained the truck driver and another individual who was traveling with him. Both suspects were taken into custody for further questioning.
Preliminary inquiries have linked the haul to a broader smuggling network, prompting investigators to trace additional links and collaborators across the state.
A CBN spokesperson said the agency is intensifying its efforts to dismantle the drug trafficking chain and will continue coordinated actions with state law‑enforcement agencies.
