The upcoming Hollywood film 'Supergirl' will see certain objectionable words muted and a visual of a middle finger deleted ahead of its release on June 26, as per CBFC directives.
The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has mandated several cuts for the Hollywood movie 'Supergirl' before its scheduled release. The film, set to premiere tomorrow, June 26, has undergone a review process by the board.
During the certification process, the CBFC ordered specific dialogues to be muted. Words such as 'whore', 'bitch', and 'balls' have been silenced to comply with censorship guidelines. Additionally, a visual depicting a middle finger has been entirely removed from the film.
These censorship decisions reflect the board's approach to maintaining content standards for theatrical releases in India. The extent of these edits suggests a thorough examination of the film's content by the CBFC.
