Residents of several eastern and southern Bengaluru neighbourhoods, including KR Puram, Whitefield and Electronic City, will face a water supply disruption tomorrow as repairs on the main Cauvery pipeline continue.
The Bangalore Water Supply system will experience a temporary interruption of Cauvery water supply tomorrow, as repair work on the main pipeline of the Cauvery water tank is underway.
The disruption will affect multiple localities in the city’s eastern and southern zones, notably KR Puram, Whitefield, Electronic City and surrounding neighbourhoods.
Authorities have warned residents to make alternative arrangements for water use during the outage, which is expected to last for the duration of the repair activities.
The repair work is part of ongoing efforts to maintain and upgrade the water distribution infrastructure serving Bengaluru’s growing population.
