Jalandhar police have registered a case alleging that a group was involved in illegal cattle smuggling. The investigation also uncovered an alleged plan to physically crush members of the Bajrang Dal during the operation. Local law enforcement officials say the two aspects of the case appear to be linked, prompting a focused probe. The police have not released further details about the individuals or the scale of the smuggling network. The incident adds to ongoing concerns about livestock trafficking and communal tensions in the region.
