A caretaker who fled Bhopal after a theft is now located 612 km away in Vrindavan, following the release of new CCTV footage after four days.

A caretaker accused of theft fled the city of Bhopal after the incident, sparking a swift police chase. Four days after the disappearance, new CCTV footage was released by authorities, revealing the suspect’s movements.

The surveillance footage, which had been under review, showed the caretaker traveling by road, eventually reaching the town of Vrindavan in Uttar Pradesh. Police confirmed that the suspect was located 612 kilometres from his original location in Bhopal.

Vrindavan police have taken over the investigation, and the caretaker is currently in custody. Authorities are examining the motive behind the theft and the circumstances that led to his escape.
