The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) issued a statement on Tuesday dismissing claims that the Class 9 Social Science half‑yearly exam paper released for 2026 was generated by artificial intelligence. The board said the paper was prepared by its standard‑setting committee and follows the prescribed syllabus.
The claim surfaced after a video showing the question paper went viral on social media, prompting speculation that AI tools had been used to create the content. BSEB clarified that no AI software was involved in drafting the questions and that the paper had undergone the usual review process.
